Tesla has officially opened the doors to its long-anticipated Tesla Diner & Drive-In in Hollywood, California. The location merges American diner nostalgia, modern EV tech, and a splash of Musk’s signature eccentricity from robot servers to 66-foot LED movie screens.
What’s Inside the Tesla Diner?
Located on Santa Monica Boulevard, where a Shakey’s Pizza once stood, the new flagship diner is anything but ordinary. It features:
- 80 Supercharger stations
- Two massive LED movie screens (66 feet each)
- Retro interior and classic American menu
- A Tesla merchandise zone
- An Optimus robot serving popcorn
The diner is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can accommodate more than 250 people, according to Tesla’s official website.
The Menu: Tesla-Themed Comfort Food
Created by LA-based chef Eric Greenspan, the menu includes classic diner staples with a twist:
- Tesla Burger with “Electric Sauce”: $13.50
- Fried chicken & waffles: $13.50
- Grilled cheese and tuna melts: $9 to $14
- Beef tallow fries, biscuits & red gravy
- Food is served in Cybertruck-shaped containers
- Ice cream samples are delivered by servers on roller skates
